STEM Technologies I, II, and III are hands-on, project-based courses designed to prepare students for future careers in engineering and STEM-related fields. STEM Tech I introduces 7th graders to career exploration and foundational engineering concepts through engaging design challenges and guest speakers. STEM Tech II allows 8th graders to expand their understanding of structures, materials, mechanisms, and automation while applying the engineering design process. STEM Tech III focuses on robotics, where students design, build, and program robots to solve real-world problems. Each class stands alone with no prerequisites required. Throughout the program, students develop critical thinking, collaboration, research, and presentation skills while exploring pathways such as aeronautics, biotechnology, civil engineering, computer science, and electrical engineering.
