Externship

  • Student is given a job shadowing experience over a limited number of days.
  • Non-paid

Internship

  • Intern serves in a limited capacity on a part-time basis in an effort to obtain knowledge, learn various career role skill sets and form network connections.
  • Can be paid or non-paid.

 Apprenticeship

  • Apprentice functions as an extension of business operations, performing various roles assigned by supervisors.
  • Apprentice is present on a consistent basis from week to week and receives compensation.
  • Apprentice learns meaningful career-related skills and must deliver business industry expectations.
